Due to its helpful photo management features, Free Rightfax menus, and great overall performance, Free Rightfax is a welcome addition to your Android gadget if you have lots of images to manage.
You can access applications and any other kind of document by browsing fully customizable system-wide spring-loaded menus, pressing hot keys, Free Rightfax hot corners, or entering abbreviations. Free Rightfax will learn from your habits and remember what you want a certain abbreviation to do (e.g., enter "abo" to launch "Address Book").
Free Rightfax downloads, installs, and configures like any Firefox extension. We opened Firefox's add-ons Free Rightfax and accessed the program's Free Rightfax options dialog, which, though compact, offered a wider range of placement options than any Firefox add-on we've yet seen, with seven toolbar options in a drop-down menu as well as the ability to select the right or left side of other add-ons. The Privacy tab let us add URLs to exclude, and the External tab let us select our Free Rightfax source: Whois-search.com, DomainTools.com, DNSstuff.com, or Who.is. The add-on's Web page offered some instructions, including a link to a Free Rightfax tutorial, version notes, and documentation. We could also select automatic or manual updates.
Opening with a few default subscriptions, users can easily add additional feeds, categories, and move subscriptions from group to group. All categories and sites are organized in a tree menu with a right-hand viewing pane. The window presents the items from a feed in two columns, much like a newspaper. A headline and summary are displayed for each article. By default, a single Free Rightfax opens a selected item in the program's viewing pane, while a double Free Rightfax opens the story in your default browser.
What's new in this version: Added Dial function to dial a phone number using TAPI. Added Free Rightfax search w/o replace to Professional version.
